Dr. Yukteshwar Kumar is a trailblazer person from Indian descent in Southwest Britain and is the first Indian heritage elected councilor in the city of Bath, UK. His influence spans beyond politics, encompassing academia and philanthropy. As a Senior academic at the University of Bath since 2007, before teaching at Santiniketan, Delhi University, and JNU, he’s deeply connected with the community. Notably, he made history as the first Asian Deputy Mayor of Bath, highlighting his commitment to meaningful change. Dr. Kumar’s philanthropic efforts range from aiding the homeless to contributing during the pandemic, showcasing his compassion. With media engagements and international contributions, he is a vocal advocate for peace, equality, and global relations.
